Why before the slab
Once the slab is down, the ground under a house is out of reach. Everything we can do afterwards, drilling, injecting, opening walls, is a way of getting back to ground we could have treated in an afternoon while it was open. Pre-construction treatment is the cheapest termite work there is, and it is the only kind that protects the whole footprint at once.
Soil treatment
The prepared ground is treated with termiticide so the entire area the building will sit on becomes a barrier. Termites coming up from below meet treated soil and do not cross it. The perimeter and every plumbing penetration get particular attention, because those are the routes they use.
Pipe reticulation
A reticulation system is a grid of micropore pipe laid across the footprint before the pour and connected to access points at the edge of the building. It is charged with termiticide at installation, and it can be recharged from those access points years later, without touching the floor. It turns a one-off treatment into one the house can renew for as long as it stands.
Working with your contractor
We coordinate the visit with the builder so the treatment goes in at the right stage, after the ground is compacted and before the vapour barrier and the pour. It does not hold the schedule up. If you are building anywhere around Tanauan, Lipa, Santo Tomas or Calamba, ask for a quote before the gravel arrives.

How long does pre-construction treatment last?
Soil treatment protects for years. A reticulation system can be recharged on schedule for the life of the building, which is what makes it worth the small extra cost at the pour.
Can it be done on an extension or a garage?
Yes. Any new slab can be treated, and joining a new reticulation run to an existing one is straightforward if we laid the original.
